Captain Ethan provides captain services only. He operates your own boat or a boat you've already rented. He does not rent boats or arrange rentals, so you'll book the vessel separately — we're happy to point you to local rental companies.
No. This is captain services only. You bring the boat — owned or rented — and Ethan brings the licensed, insured captain. If you're renting, just have it booked before your day on the water.
It depends on your boat's U.S. Coast Guard capacity rating, posted near the helm. Captain Ethan operates within that limit for everyone's safety. Tell us your boat and group size and he'll confirm what works.
Sunscreen, water, snacks or a cooler, towels, and any food or drinks for your group. Ethan brings the local knowledge, safe boat handling, and a stress-free day — you bring the crew.
There's a 4-hour minimum. Four hours suits a focused outing, six hours is the most popular full lake day, and eight hours fits big celebrations and cove-hopping. Not sure? Call or text and we'll help you choose.
Half-day (4 hours) is $500, the most popular lake day (6 hours) is $700, and a full-day premium (8 hours) is $900. There's a 4-hour minimum. Fuel, food, and drinks stay with you and your boat.
Yes — that's one of the biggest reasons to hire a captain. With a sober, licensed captain running the boat, your group can relax and celebrate without anyone risking a BUI or an unsafe ride.
